Their casual use, consumption and disposal a constant 5 billion United States dollars in sales annually. Five billion dollars of Cadmium, Graphite, Lithium, Manganese, Mercury, Nickel, Potassium and Zinc. Five billion dollars of disposable energy. Five billion dollars to power Sonys, Nikons, Canons, and Samsungs. Fuel to the fire of overwhelming electronic dependence.
